Introduction:

We all know about the mystical theory behind supernatural creatures like vampires, werewolves, ghosts etc. Following the mythical concept of vampires, a show named, The Vampire Diaries was made in 2007. It was blast hitting series from the start of the series till it's last season. Every watcher all over the world is fan of the show. 

Plot Synopsis : 

The show encounters actions of two vampire brothers, Stefan Salvatore and Damon Salvatore who were turned by vampire named Katherine Pierce in 1848. The show introduces new kind of vampirism including, they can be killed with wooden stake, they have to be invited in otherwise they can't enter any home, they are harmed by vervain, they can compel anyone, all the emotions are heightened up, all there abilities increase, they are harmed by sun rays, they have to die with vampire blood in their body to turn into vampire etc.The show not only contains vampires but it also have Werewolves, Witches, Hybrids, Ghosts etc. In season 1, Stefan returns to Mystic Falls and mets Elena Gilbert and falls in love with her. Elena's parents died when there car fell off a bridge. Damon also returns to Mystic Falls and finds out about Elena and Stefan. Damon deeply loved Katherine and when he finds out about Elena who has same face as of Katherine. He started to compel her to love him but Stefan finds out about his brother's action . He gives Elena a pendant with vervain so that he cannot compel her.Also a new history teacher comes to Mystic Falls, Alaric Saltzman, a vampire hunter. Alaric's wife mysteriously disappeared but Alaric saw a vampire feeding on her. It was later revealed that it was Damon and he came to Mystic Falls to kill him. But he was overpowered by Damon and killed. But he didn't die because of a ring he wears which protects him from death caused by any supernatural creature.Soon Damon's intention came into rise that he wanted to remove the barrier spell from a tomb below Mystic Falls in which Katherine was trapped. He threatnes Elena's friend Bonnie to open the barrier who was witch otherwise he would kill her. When the tomb was open it was shown that Katherine was never in the tomb and she escaped from the trap by compelling a man to let her go and Damon was in despair. The other vampires in the tomb escaped and caused chaos in the city.They wanted to seek revenge by burning up a gathering event of the founder's council. Stefan and Damon succeded in stopping them but they held Stefan captive with them. Later, Damon with the help of Alaric rescued him but his ripper nature was once again on the brim. Stefan can't control his bloodlust and he kill the people when he feed. To control himself, he restricts him from drinking human blood so he consumes animal blood. Later at founder's ball , Stefan can't control his bloodlust and took one of the girl to the woods to feed on her. Due to this, Elena was made to dance with Damon which she found quite awkward but consuming. In the last episode of the series, Katherine appears in Elena's home and they face each other.
