The world is fight with a lot of wonderfully good person. This story is about a noble and a courageous man know as Mopera. Mopera was a tall and strong man. He was a well built man. Therefore people called him ‘a giant’. He appeared like just a giant but he was very good and generous to everyone. He was always ready to assist people in one way or the other.
One day, Mopera was sitting comfortably on the bank of a river. All of sudden, he saw an old man who was starting at the river. The river was very wide and very deep. The old man was very sad. Mopera went to the old man and asked, “Why are you sad, Sir?"
The old man looked up at Mopera and said, “I want to cross the river but it's very deep. The water flow is very fast and I don't know swimming. "
“Don't worry, sir. You can easily sit on my shoulder and i will take you across. I am tall and water is not so deep for me to walk through it.”
Mopera bent down and the old man climbed on to his strong shoulders. They entered into the water. Very soon the old man reached the other side of the river.
“How do I thank you ?” the old man said.
Then, Mopera went back to the other side of the river.
Following day, Mopera thought, “Let me construct a hut and live here. In this manner, I can assist the people who wish to cross the deep river.”
Soon, Mopera construct a hut and started to live near the river. Daily, he sued to carry men, women and children across the river.
One night, there came a very strom and the sky become dark. There were very strong winds and the water level ingrew the river. Suddenly, Mopera heard a loud voice.
'Mopera ! Please help me ! Take me across the river !" Mopera came out of his hut. He saw that a small boy was shivering badly in the cold.
Mopera bent down and said gently, “Oh, my dear child ! Come into my hut. The weather is not suitable now. We may go across the river in the morning.” The child became sad and said, “Mopera ! Please take me across now. I want to leave now.”
mopera saw tears welled in the child eyes. Then he took up the child on his strong shoulders and entered into the river. The icy water lashed on his body and the wind roared loudly around them, but Mopera held the child very tightly and kenton walking. At last, they reached the other bank of the river. It became very dark till then. Mopera said, “Oh my child, can I accompany you ? It has became for you to go alone.”
The child did not say anything and walked away slowly. Mopera saw a soft and unclear circle of light round his head like a gold crow. Mopera fell down on his knees.
Mopera murmured, “The Child seems Jesus ! Thank God ! I carried Jesus on my shoulders. "Since then Mopera became Christ Mopera.
