Lets Be Positive About Covid And Not Covid+

The world is reeling under it's worst crisis in a long time. We are all scared of the consequences of the covid-19 virus, anxious for our loves ones' health and feeling helpless about our future.

The situation seems desperate, unsurmountable and hopeless. But we must not lose hope in humanity. If we all are determined in our collective efforts to fight the covid-19 virus, then it is just a matter of time before humanity will triumph. In order for this to happen we have to stay calm and do out bit for the fight by leading our lives in such a way that covid-19 has no other way than to quit.

We need to start with the precautions :

  • Stay at home unless you need to step out for emergencies like getting food, going to a hospital or going to work on a need-be basis.
  • If you have to go out always wear a N95 mask and gloves & stay at least six feet apart from any other person.
  • Drink lukewarm water
  • Have nutritious homemade food
  • Exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday

Then, in the unfortunate event that you are not feeling normal, check for :

Early Symptoms

  • Dry cough
  • Sore throat
  • Running nose
  • Loss of smell and taste
  • Headache
  • Body ache
  • Tiredness
  • Vomiting sensation
  • Breathlessness
  • Chest pain
  • Loss of appetite
  • Loose motion
  • Numbness of any limb or face.

If you have any of these symptoms, then consult a doctor and in the case of you being tested Covid+, go to a hospital for treatment or self-isolate at home and get treated.

I know I may be guilty of making this sound very casual. But I understand all this takes a lot of courage and determination from us to go out there and do our part, in these times of panic and stress. I have seen firsthand that the infection wrecks your body and leaves you battered before you get cured. There is physical and mental trauma that affects not just the infected people but also their near & dear ones, even after they get cured.

We have to draw upon our reserve of willpower and positivity to cross this hurdle of Covid-19. We also need to do this to support our overworked healthcare workers and volunteers, by staying safe and healthy & making sure we provide them our utmost cooperation when we are on our journey to being cured.

We are all in this together and my best wishes for everyone to get over this Covid-19 phase without any major hiccups. Our spirit of universal brotherhood will ultimately pull us out of this tragedy.
