The area under your eye can appear darker due to various reasons such as

  • lack of proper sleep
  • allergies
  • constantly scratching or rubbing your eyes
  • sun exposure and so on.

Here, i am sharing a very simple DIY that actually works and reduces your dark circles in just a week.

  1. Ingredients:
  • 4 to 5 almonds
  • almond oil and
  • coffee powder

process:

Firstly, soak 4 to 5 almonds for an hour or so and grind them finely. Take the almond paste into a bowl and add almond oil to it. Almonds has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which helps to lighten the dark circles. It also has vitamin E and vitamin K which keep the under eye skin to be smooth and free from irritation. After adding almond oil add one table spoon of coffee powder to it. coffee powder helps to improve blood circulation by narrowing blood vessels. It also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Now, mix all the ingredients and apply on your under eye area and massage it for 2 minutes (massaging promotes blood circulation) and leave it on for 15 min, then rinse it off. Do this for a week and you will see amazing results. You can also store the prepared mixture in a container for a week so that you don't need to prepare it daily and store the mixture in a cool place. you can also refrigerate it.

2) Ingredients:

  • Aloe vera gel

Aloe vera hydrates your skin under your eyes and reduces the darkness and puffiness with its anti-inflammatory and calming properties. Aloe vera work wonders for your skin naturally and it can be used for almost every skin problem. As it is a natural ingredient you can use it without any hesitation.

  • Coconut oil

Coconut oil contains vitamin E and helps in lightening your dark circles.

Process:

Add one table spoon of aloe vera gel and one table spoon of coconut oil and mix them together (If you have aloe vera plant at home then you can add fresh aloe vera otherwise there are so many brands in the market who are selling pure aloe vera gel without adding any chemicals. you can buy any one them and add that). Now massage your under eye area with the mixture for 2 to 3 min and leave it on for 15 min and then wash off it. Do this every night before going to bed for a week, you will see amazing results.

I hope you find this helpful. Do try this and share your experience in the comment section. I would love to hear from you guys.

Have a nice day!
