If yes, then this story is going to change your entire perception towards your life. So, let's start today's blog with a new inspiring story of a women who is known as Iron lady of Pakistan.
Muniba Mazari hailed from a very conservative family and like every conservative family she was asked to get married at the age 18 and she got married .But within 2 years of her marriage an incident happened that changed her whole life. It was a car accident when she was travelling from Balochistan to her hometown. The car fell into the ditch. Her husband jump off the car and save his life but Muniba was not able to do so . She was badly injured .Her entire body got fractured . Unfortunately there were no hospital, no ambulance available there . She was thrown into the Jeep and rushed into the hospital. In the Jeep ,she realized that her body was paralyzed and the rest was fractured. The hospital kicked out her because there were no facilities available.
Later, fortunately there was a hospital in Karachi where she was operated. After she was diagnosed ,doctors told her family that she had severe fractures .Her collar bone, shoulder, wrist were badly deformed. The spine was injured and this injury caused her lower body to be paralyzed. She lost her control over bowel movements. She undergone 3 major and 2 minor surgeries and metal was put in her backbone ,arms.
The doctors told her that she cannot walk with her legs anymore .She has to stay in bed . The most devastating news was that she cannot become mother and give birth to child. That news broke her .Her husband don't wanted to stay with her anymore. She was in grief and she asked her mother “Why me?" .Her mother replied that ,"this too shall pass; god has bigger plans for you .And this words gave a ray of hope to her and she questioned her existence and decided to know her purpose of being alive after such an accident. After she was moved to her home , she was bedridden for next 2 years because she had developed pressure ulcer and various allergies.
She decided to paint and fill colors in life and she painted her first painting when she was bedridden. Later she decided to overcome all his fear .She overcome her first fear and got divorced as her husband didn't wanted to stay so she liberated herself from fear of abandonment .Later she adopted a baby boy and become a mother . She overcome her another fear of facing people by giving speech .She accepted herself as the way she is and today she is the inspiration for other people .
She became the national ambassador for UN Women Pakistan among the 100 Inspirational Women by BBC. She did a modelling campaign for Tony and Guy where she become the first wheelchair model. She was chosen by pond's as the “Pond's Miracle Women”. Today's she is anchor, artist, model, singer, and motivational speak
