Hello everyone! This topics is something i have always thought about even experienced it.

OUR HUMAN MENTALITY TO DO SOMETHING WHEN OTHERS SAYS “DON'T DO IT”

What i mean by this topic is we humans have always or atleast most of us have this mentality to do something when others specifically says don't do that.have you wondered about that?

"Everyone has some form of inner rebel that likes to question or do the opposite of what they have been told"

For example , lets take a parent says to her childern "don't dance on the sofa" but the child would immediately just do that, some of us have this complexity to react to those word "don't" "not""can't".

It is okay to have this complexities or rebelious at a younger age and this is purely psychological as if our brain wants to ensure that it has his own mind and if someone restricts it by saying “you can't do it or Don't do it” making it as a forbidden ,it will automitically projects it as a challenge and thus results us tend to do exactly that, what others say "don't".This is termed by scientist as reactance.

As i said it is okay to have this complexties at a younger age as we just now tend to explore the world and we are not still not exposed to darker side of the world, but as an adult if someone says to you like "Don't smoke or drink" you would have this huge curiousity to drink and smoke.

These type of complexities are mostly found in our Indian children,as most of the indian parents are strict to their kids ,believeing that could save their kids from discovering and entering into the wrong side of the world.what they didn't know is that, the more strict they become, the more their children starts to lie and do behind their backs.Once  kids dicovered those ,without any proper guidance ,they lend to lean on dark side.

Thus the concept of "UPBRINGING" takes place ,as one's own values are inculcated into us through our parents, family and our immediate surroundings. This would shape their personality, perspective and creates the foundation of our fundamental sense of right amd wrong

So, parents are said to be the main pillar who supports the children upbringing.thus, they should portray both the bright and dark sides of the world to the children in their understanding level and try to minimise or neglect the word Don't and frame it to form "Do"

If you can't understand, let me use the same example i used at first, where the parent says to the children"Don't dance on the sofa" so here instead of using "don't" say “Do dance on the floor”,this would definitely make a change as you are not opposing or restricting or forbidden the act.

Thus,i conclude by saying ,let's the next generatiom have a wonderful and understandble parents who they can look up to as a role model.
