There are some people you wish you would met earlier because they add meaning to your life and make you believe that anything is possible as long as you have them beside you. They come into your life like a breath of fresh air and suddenly, it is all rainbows and sunshine. You feel like somehow they have brought light into your life which you had been searching for a long time. They help you face your fears and fight your insecurities.
When they tell you that you are beautiful, you actually believe them and all those comments of you not being pretty enough or you could lose a little weight suddenly seem too foolish to even think about. They tell you that you are capable and not stupid to have those big dreams and you promise yourself to work even harder to see that proud smile on their face. They make you laugh backstage when you are fidgeting before your performance and you feel light. All the worry and pressure of being the best leave your body when they tell you that it is not about being the best but about trying. You realise that they will celebrate just the same no matter if you win or not. They remember even the smallest details about you and regularly spoil you. Even when you are stuffing your mouth with ice-cream and pizza, they look at you as if you are the most beautiful site on earth and you blush and take another scoop. With them, you can be your true self. You are not afraid to be vulnerable and cry your heart out when it feels heavy. Because, you know they will hold you tight and never let you go. They pull you out of the darkness and save you everytime you hit a rock bottom.
You thank God for sending them into your life as your guardian angel and you smile remembering your 12th birthday wish, coming to life of having someone who makes you want to live another day with nothing but love in your heart.
You can't expect anyone to trust revelation if he hasn't experienced it himself. Those who haven't only know reason. And since revelation is a thing apart, and cannot be accounted for reasonably, they never will believe you. This is the great division of the world and always has been. When reason and revelation run together, why, then you have something great, a great age.
