ANXIETY, we must have heard this word quite frequently around us but not everyone is well aware of it or whoever knows and suffering from the same, does not accept that he or she is a victim of it. So, first of all let's understand what anxiety is.
Anxiety is the natural reaction of your mind and body to any stressful situation. It could be of any level like physical, emotional or psychological causing different responses in different individual. Each one of us must have experienced some degrees of anxiety at some point in our lives. Well sometimes, it's normal to get nervous, worried or anxious during some unusual events but only as long as it does not interfere with normal day to day activities and mental state of the person.
Well there is no such magic to completely recover from your anxiety overnight but here are some strategies to cure your anxiety on a long term basis.
Meditation not only relaxes your body but your mind too. It benefits in reducing anxiety by many ways :
Exercise releases endomorphins (HAPPY HORMONES) which reduces the stress and anxiety. Do breathing exercises on daily basis.
Take at least 6-8 hours of sleep to maintain a good physical and mental health.
It's simply pen down your feelings and thoughts to analyse them and learn the trigger of your anxiety. It can efficiently improve your mental health. I do the same and yay! It's working for me.
Connecting with positive people improves your mood and lowers your stress level. Share your feelings with your close ones and let them know how they can help you. Don't hesitate to ask for help as they are the ones who truly care about you and definitely help you out.
