Let's fall in love..

In ways we would never let each other believe was possible. In ways we would never have thought real. In ways we both knew could never come true. Let's fall in love and make it through.

Last night, you came to me in a dream. You told me everything you've done and been. You told me how hard it was for you to let me go. I remember all I said was "I know".

Hadn't we said we be each other's forever. But I guess forever didn't last that long. As time went by we drifted further apart. New memories new people and new favourite songs.

Today you called me just to say hi. It was not a conversation. I was willing to let by. I wanted to hear your voice it had been too long. It was just you and me, and everything else drowned.

How could it be, the way you make me feel. Like we were teenagers again making a core memory. And here we are as adults half our lives already passed by. I cannot believe how you make me feel so alive.

It's been hours since we last spoke. It's been hours since you told me you want to give us another go. And it feels like something I had been waiting for. 

Like everyone else had just been filling the space you had left, a space that never really disappeared. Like it knew that we were mean to be, like it knew what forever means. And yet there's fear, but it seems to be taking a back seat.

And yet there is hope that we could really truly be. Maybe this time would be different and we just don't know. Maybe this time we'll be right for each other. Like it had never happened before.

Let's fall in love And finally, Grow. Let's fall in love.. Like we hadn't been able to before.
