Dear memo,

Is it weird that I am writing this letter to you, in you?

I know I am no stranger to you, I think you know more about me than any other application on my phone. Not even camera can grasp what I feel, the way you do. You hold everything : tasks, bills, account numbers, and my most importantly, my private thoughts, the thoughts I am yet to turn into something concrete.

You give me space where I can let my mind run free, where I store prompts and words and phrases, just to come back to them later and make them actual presentable tales.

Some, even after being stored in you for more than three months, have not seen any build up in their stories, but you keep them there, waiting for my return.

Do you know what I love the best about you? I don't need to connect to the internet for anything. No waiting for the signal to become better, or for you to load. You open as soon as the click on you, and you have made my life so much easier.

If I am travelling or riding or in a cab or even about to call asleep, if a thought hits me, I can count on you to always be available in the moment to save it.

Everything is stored in you, be it my happiest moments to my saddest ones. You are the first one who is there for me without asking for help when I have breakdowns. Please, be with me always.

It doesn't like just typing over you, but it's like talking to you. Although you can't provide any solutions to my problems but you are there for me, this is just enough for me.

There is one teensy little problem. I can't find you anywhere on the phone's memory disc. I can't copy all my 1479 memos in one go directly from my phone. I did not see this complication before, but I will find a solution soon.

Wait, I will go right that down. (Memo 1480 - Find a way to copy all memos.) I will be back but you already know that.

P.S : If I ever lose my phone, you are the only app I will actually feel bad about losing.
