Everyone of us have gone through a feeling of butterflies in the stomach during our high school. High school romance - let's go down the memory lane.

1. It was your first love, you wrote your first love letter to them on a classmate notebook page with a red pen because red symbolizes love. also, you especially wrote ‘open with love’ on the top because love makes you a goofball.

2. School library and labs were your favorite places. you both would ‘coincidently’ end up sitting together and try to quote those cheesy pick up lines while choosing books or performing lab experiments with love in the air.

3. Remember how everyone would hoot while you walk together in the corridors and you shoot them all a hard glare but deep down you would imagine the corridor as the aisle and you both as the perfect bride and groom ready to exchange the vows.

4. When you both held hands together for the first time, you could hear your heartbeat speeding up and your face getting hot. That night, you slept with the biggest smile on your face.

5. You both would plan surprise birthday parties for each other in the cafeteria and make the cutest DIYs which till date, remain the most treasured thing for you.

6. When you both went out on your first date for a movie and lied at home that you were going to your friend's, it was the most thrilling experience that you had in your sixteen years of life and even today when you watch that movie, a smile automatically makes its way on your face.

7. You would help each other out during exams and in assignments even though it used to be 40% study and 60% madness, somewhere in your heart you both saw each other as life partners and working together through real problems and just not mathematics.

8. The whole school knew about you both, even though it was only your best friend who you told and it is a mystery to you till date. And when you broke up, not only did you break each other hearts but theirs too because the whole school was rooting for you both, hard.
