What Actually Matters Most??

Make sure the lens through which you see the world is clear, Because you can never see clearly unless your lens are clean, despite the cleanliness of the object.

The perception in this case is lens. If and only if you change your perception, you can change your life.

Can you name your thoughts about the girl in the above picture??

You can say either she is sulking lonely, or you could say she is enjoying herself alone!!

The way you think matters more than your attitude, your communication skills, your capabilities….what not?  in achieving your goal.

Because the way you think is the core of your life. Searching happiness is the human nature. And you can never find or understand it unless you change your perception.

Neither I nor you, nor anyone else in this world could say that you will always win, that you will always have the spotlight on you.

The truth is there would be somedays, where you are falling, where you feel shitty, where you desperately want to quit, where you want to blame on others for your mistakes….., what not!

But you need to change your perception to accept failures as a part of life, mistakes as building stones, and most importantly feeling shitty is normal in life.

But change in your perception would make you accept the things they are, and give courage to move on, to fight to change things…..,

Now let me ask you, what do you lack in life??

I am sure you would list nearly infinite things if possible…

But can you answer to this: “what do you have in your life??”

Can you name

 your capabilities,

 your positives

your success, 

 your ‘aha’ moments, 

A point in your life where you pulled yourself out of your problems, 

Your moments where you stood up for yourself despite earning frown from others, 

The nights where you cried yourself to sleep and woke up with the next morning with determination,

 The moments where your heart was broken brutally by someone yet you are brave enough to let it go,

Your moments of sacrifice of your favorite things for others, your moments of empathy, 

Your kindness, 

Your care to someone, 

Your perseverance to stick your passion despite the shitty difficulties, 

Your moments where you laughed your heart out,

Your moments where you cried for others,

Your moments where you had done something for someone in their need………,

What I believe is you need to remember what you lack! 

Definitely yes!!

Because you need to know what you need in life….., just because you want something doesn’t mean it was meant to be in your life.

But I also want you to remember the things you had gone through, how you achieved despite your difficulties, your hard work….,

It’s normal to feel lost and bad for the opportunities you lost in your past, maybe due to your ignorance, maybe due to your options, maybe due to your financial status, maybe due to lack of support, and many more.

But you can’t choose grieving, or sulking over the things you lost in your past. It is never a strategy.

It’s okay to be lost somewhere in your life, but,

What definitely not okay is you being struck there forever.

Comm’on lets be rational, you sulking or worrying would never gonna give back what you have lost.

But your sulking and worrying would definitely make you lose more, more than what you have lost in your past.

I conclude,

what you have lost in the past acknowledge it, but don’t cling to it.

Because, you need space for your future, currently being held by past.
