Boys Over Flowers is a famous Korean Drama released in the year 2009. This drama is based on the Japanese shojo manga series.This drama is well received and is regarded as the classic teen romance drama. This drama has garnered a lot of praise from the critics and has won a number of awards. All the Kdrama lovers, if you still haven't watched this drama then you certainly should, I promise that it won't disappoint you!

Boys over flowers is a teen romance drama that stars one of the most popular faces of the present Korean film industry. The story revolves around the protagonist of the drama, Geum Jan Di (Koo Hye Sun) and her life, she is a sweet little girl living a normal life until her life is turned upside down.  Geum Jan Di is transferred to an exclusive high school as student on welfare scholarship. In this school, only the children of the wealthy families go, the major concept of the school is about how rich one's family is. All goes well for Geum Jan Di until she lands in trouble with the renowned F4, the F4 are basically a group of 4 elite boys, all heirs to famous Korean Corporations, they are the most feared boys in the school and are not someone to mess up with. The leader of the gang, Goo Joon Pyo (Lee Min Ho) is shown to be a cold hearted character who is unconcerned care about the people around him. Geum Jan Di being a girl with good moral values, ends up kicking Goo Joon Pyo as he bullied her best friend. That incident is the beginning to the story of both of them. Goo Joon Pyo is  astounded to see an ordinary girl going the against the mighty F4 for her best friend, and eventually he starts liking her. 

Geum Jan Di is taken back to see the rude boy go soft on her. Geum Jan Di actually likes Yoon Ji-hu (Kim Hyun Joong). Yoon Ji-hu is a member of the F4 but among the four, he is more gentler and doesn't involve with the F4 in their stupid pranks. There is a love triangle that takes place in the first part of this drama, however after seeing the much obvious love triangle, in the end Yoon Ji-hu gives up his feelings for Geum Jan Di because he doesn't want to break his best friend, Goo Joon Pyo's heart. Geum Jan Di too starts liking Goo Joon Pyo and they start dating. The problem that arises is that Goo Joon Pyo belongs to the richest family in Korea, he is the heir to the richest business company in Korea, his mother is disappointed and upset that her son likes a girl who has a poor family background. Geum Jan Di faces a lot of humiliation from Goo Joon Pyo's mother. This drama shows the difficult love between the heir of a rich company and the daughter of a poor man and how the mother of the boy acts like a villain to destroy the young love. Although the plot of the drama is quite cliche, it is the cast that makes it worth watching. This drama celebrates love, friendship, togetherness and the simple aspects of life.

This drama was a hit, seeing the irresistible the F4 boys casting their charm over the audience with their good looks and acting and of course there is young Lee Min Ho who manages to steal the hearts of all the girls. Honestly this drama is on the top of my Kdrama list, this is that one drama that I can watch multiple times without any complains, the music too in this drama is perfect and fits the plot well. This drama is certainly add to watch list.
