Hello Readers,I hope you are doing well.I hope you are going to love this blog the way you have loved my other blogs. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more such blogs.

Just a few days ago,ie. On 19th November, there was International Men's Day which isn't celebrated on a large scale the way Women's Day is celebrated.Though people talk about Gender Equality and write posts bashing all men for the mistakes of a smaller section of men,one thing that we shouldn't forget is Gender Equality goes both ways.If we are only talking about women's rights and not men's rights then it's foolish of us to do that.

Nowadays Fake feminism is taking a strong hold in our society. A lot of women blame men for the crimes that they haven't even committed. Some women do take advantage of their gender. To be honest after seeing this Gender Equality discussion and then seeing that people mostly side with women because they think that women can't do wrong because in most cases men are found guilty. There are men who are culprits but there are also men who don't indulge in any wrong activities.

There are many things that men are still not allowed to do. Even though they are allowed to roam outside their houses at night, they are allowed to drink/smoke or sleep with anyone they like before marriage but the one thing they are not allowed to do is to cry. This thought had always crossed my mind about men not crying in public. Men are not allowed to show their emotions openly. They are told to suppress their feelings to such an extent that the only outlet of their feelings is by hurting the ones they love(in this case usually their wife or girlfriend). Nowadays even if a man puts up makeup,he is trolled for it and called a girl or a transgender. There's no shock in reading this because we come across this every single day but still ignore it cause this is happening with a man and men should be used to this much insult.

There are many men who are bisexual, gays, etc people usually portray them as girlish and fragile in films, series, etc especially in India. I feel whatever the person's sexuality, we are no one to judge them cause at the end of the day it's completely their choice and we have no right to interfere in someone else's life.A lot of men are not allowed to explore their sexuality, some men like dressing up like the opposite gender but then they are beaten up and told that they have caught a disease and they take them to some foolish spiritual leaders to teach them a lesson and get their brains on track (a thing which I don't appreciate). The only thing that I have observed among people be it men or women is that if you suppress their emotions or feelings,it can turn into something way worst like a mental disorder or a bad habit and their lives can get completely destroyed. As times are changing,I am really glad that people are being more accepting and appreciating men who are coming out as bi/trans or gay. At the end the only message that I want to share is that respect and equality goes both ways. If we want to be respected and treated equally we should also respect others the same way. Respect both the genders and let them be.Whats your opinion regarding Gender Equality? Don't forget to mention in the comments section.
