This story starts from murder. Three masked persons kills a person called karnan and recorded that murder to send this video to the cop (like a message) . But  cops handover this case to the another special team called black squad. Then the black squads team head Amar starts the investigation with his team (4members) and they found that there is 2more people killed by the masked people. But both of them were cops. But the last person killed by the masked people was not cop. Amar started to investigate about karnan and find out that one of previously killed person was son of karnan. Amar continued his investigation about karnan and he heard that karnan was not a good man told by daughter of law of karnan. But the worker in their house tells that karnan was a good man. Amar confused like ,"what a Mysterious person ". Amara team investigate about an another character called santhanam(Drug dealler) . Amar thought that santhanam must be that masked person. But sathanam was not a masked person. Santhanam was a great drug dealer and he got a threat from masked person. In that threat the masked person mentioned that he is going to kill one of his friend (minister)during his daughter's marriage. So santhanam and his brothers promised that minister that they would be his bodygaurd in that marriage.Amar came to know about this threat and he also came to this function to capture that masked person. But unfortunately the masked person and his team enters into that function and captured the daughter of that minister. So the minister has no way to help his daughter and surrendered to that masked person. The masked person handcuffed that minister into his bike and take him away from the marriage function. Amar , cops and santhanams brothers followed that masked person. Atlast the police surrounded that masked person. But the masked person Fought all the cops and And killed the minister infront of amar . Amar asked the masked person to remove his mask if he had a guts to live without the mask. And finally the masked person revealed his face. And there is a big suprise to amar because the man in a mask was karnan. Amar got confused but he early guessed that should be karnan. And tells that karnan was really not a karnan his actual name was vikram and he is also the one of black squad head in 1980 batch. Amar called him as (“Once up on a time there lived a ghost”) .
