The Family: Boon Or Bane?

Being born into a family and growing up with parents and siblings is a luxury. Family is often thought of as a source of happiness, but that isn't always the truth. When several individuals live together, there are complications in terms of expectations, emotions, and personalities. The ups are enjoyable, but let's speak about the downs now.

When we are raised in a family, we are not only taught how to study at school, play with friends, and eat under the roof of the home, but also how well our relationships with our family members are, including their connections, conversations they have, their behaviours, and their availability.

Although you are related by blood, there is still a chance that you may not feel particularly comfortable around your family. This could be because of a generational gap, a difference in thought processes, beliefs, or ways of living, or perhaps some customs, laws, responses, or behaviors that just don't feel right to you. You just want to break free but are unable to.

Nepotism, in my opinion, is harmful if it results in total power, seizes control of the situation in order to establish a monopoly, erects obstacles to entrance and prevents outside competitors from entering the same field.

It is not nepotism when a businessperson transfers control to a blood relative or creates jobs for members of the clan or close family, but it is nepotism when that same businessperson forms a lobby of producers and forbids others from expanding the same industry so that the successor won't face competition or become obsolete.

Yes, there is a sector called farming that desperately needs nepotism—by choice, not by force or compulsion—to get it back on its feet. Farmers watch out for their kids not following in their footsteps. Instead, highly educated farmers are urgently needed.

There are no benefits or drawbacks to nepotism. It all relies on the person and how he manages his risks. Life isn't fair, and how you deal with its challenges reveals your character and spirit.

People have forgotten the value of grandparents in the family in today's rapidly expanding world. The idea of a combined family is gradually disappearing, and nuclear families are significantly on the rise. Do you agree that a grandparent's love for their grandchild is the most amazing thing in the world?

The older generation no longer views grandparents as family members as much as they do as a duty. Since people now prefer living alone or in nuclear families over joint ones, where a child can receive love and affection from both his or her grandparents and other family members, the concept of family has undergone significant change over time. Many families forsake their elderly parents or grandparents. Grandparents are regarded as the fundamental foundation of the family and offer assistance to the family via their wisdom and experience. Additionally, they aid in instilling in grandchildren a variety of moral principles and ethics that encourage them to respect and value the elderly in society.
