The first and the most probable cause is cached files which gets stored on your local storage when you use web services or any android app. These are nothing but temporary files that gets stored on your smartphone's internal storage which makes it easy to open most of the apps dashboard.

Did not understood, let us take an example of google play store. Switch off your mobile data and open play store, you'll still see some apps on dashboard. This is a live proof that play store has stored some temporary files, due to which it displays some apps even when mobile data is off.

Now, what's the solution for this or how to clear cache files. There are some apps which stores cached data too much filling up the storage, one of them is Youtube, try clearing it, if you have never cleaned before, you will find more than 1 GB cached data. There are two methods for this, the first one is:

• Go to settings.
• Click on apps.
• Click on manage apps.
• Click on apps which are taking more space in your phone.
• Click on clear cache.

Here, you will see all apps together in one place but you can manually long press any app and then click app info, and then click storage, and click the same i.e., clear cache. ▪︎Restrict apps running in background

There are many apps which uses cpu while running in the background. It affects your phone's performance and drains battery. The above mentioned app can help you out with this.

▪︎Switch to data saver mode

Almost all mobile phones have data saver mode which restricts background apps from running and hence enhances your phone's performance. Some phones may have some different named option but will work the same.

▪︎Uninstall apps which you do not use

Please uninstall apps which you do not use because these apps are like headache to phone's memory and internal storage. Unintalling will save internal storage as well as improve phone's performance.

▪︎Enable dark mode

Please enable dark mode in your device. This is so because white light uses more battery and affects our eyes, thereby, reducing productivity. This will save battery and will take care of your eyes.
