While the wind was moving as fast as this pandemic

The sun arose spreading the sunshine as wide as this epidemic

Then I hear a subtle voice, asking a question

“Are you ready for today's battle of your portion”

My wondered eyes looks around and finds my grandfather

and his one hand is holding tea cup and the other holding a thin feather

He gently takes a sip of tea and question me again

“Are you sacred, if so why?”

Let me tell you  my story of those ages

Which reminded me of when we were in cages

Before all that let me remind you,

Everything happening is not just for you and it is as worst as all other fuss

Back then I used to think myself, it is so boring

same face, same people, same old thoughts hitting

Then she appears with a thing and beautiful smile on her sweaty face by which I was so amazed

And then it took very less time for me to realize

What!!!

So if you think it is difficult for you to see those faces daily,

Then think about your lady who waits for you everyday happily

For you if this was unacceptable

Than for her this bustling journey was unpredictable

Yes, I realized this when I was in similar cage

While she sacrificing her space and fighting the nervous inward rage

Yes, the pandemic is killing many outside

But there is someone you take care who is sitting right beside

I, her man, learnt a lesson that day

“Everyone has set their journeys but there is someone who is living this adventurous life with mysterious future like her, you and many”

So, get up, get ready find your way

You are stronger than a shield, so never fade away

And slowly the feather flows away with the wind

and so does my grandfather who wisely advised my mind

well it was a beautiful dream and I open my eyes and become steady

And whisper gently but sprightly “Yes, I am ready”

“Yes, this time is difficult, many of them lost their loved one also many of them are loosing themselves because of lot of responsibilities, change in daily routine or not able to step outside. But there are many such people even before this pandemic and this is the time to learn from them.”
