LOVE! 

Love is not just a four letter word but it is an emotion or a feeling which can't be described by a proper definition. It is a feeling that has the power to give you happiness as well as sadness. It's that feeling that can make our life beautiful like heaven or dreadful like hell. We all know that everything in this universe has a good side as well as bad side. Loving someone is very beautiful and getting the same love in return is like icing on the cake! When two people are in love they are immersed in each other’s company. A relationship comes with not only a lot of responsibilities but also understanding and trust.

Have you heard couples say like they don't have the spark they had when they started dating at first? You must have heard it .There are also a lot of memes on how a relationship is after a month vs after a year. I have heard many girls and boys say that they don’t have that chemistry, that excitement or spark left in their relationship after a few months of dating. I wonder what goes wrong in these relationships. 

What if we don’t water our plants daily? What will happen to them? They will die, right! Is it the plant that died on its own or is it our fault that our efforts to make them grow weren’t enough? It will be our fault! Similarly the spark , the energy , the love , the chemistry two people share when they are in  a  relationship does not die on its own or doesn’t disappear anywhere. It’s those two people’s efforts that might not be enough for these things to be alive in their relationship. For me I think efforts from not only one person but from both of them matters in a relationship. For that matter every relationship whether it be friendship, mother-father relationship, and parent – child relationship etc., all of them needs efforts from both the sides to understand each other and help each other grow in that relationship.

It is indeed easy to say these things than to do them. I may not know what exactly it is to be in a relationship but one thing I am sure of is that efforts never disappoint you in any way. Efforts may not always tend to give you happiness or good results, but it will surely help you to learn something about life which is also very important for an individual’s growth.

Lastly, I would say, start making efforts if you think things are going down in your relationship. If not this case, then keep going on with your efforts to make your relationship more beautiful and memorable. This is not only for romantic relationships but for every kind of relationship be it with your mother, father, siblings, friends etc.
