I live in a country where being Transgender, gays, lesbians, homosexuals, is a sin or crime. I live in a country where they are treated as a sin to humankind.
I live in a country where in order to offend someone, you just need to call them gay or trans or homosexual or lesbian. Even having a clean shave means you are gay. I live in a country where people don't know the difference between a clean shave and gay. Trans community is signified as abuse to mankind.
I live in a society where bangles or the word churis (a pride possession of married woman of India) is when worn by men is considered as a matter of shame. These were bothering me ever since I had seen few posts related to bangles. The same bangles are adorned by women with their utmost pride, have been used to belittle the opposite gender.
With the intention to offend a man, they are asked to wear bangles calling them like βIf you can't do anything, better wear bangles broβ considering women as a weak entity of society in the country where Devi Ma is been worshipped and considered as the former of the entire universe.
Well, I am not here to vent my resentment or be extremely sulky over this, rather I am enlightened with the fact that a man's behavior is often judged by how distal is he from the commodities and habits of his female counterpart.
I also agree with the fact that some accessories are meant to be used by a specific gender but using the same accessory to defame or depreciate the opposite gender is quite immoral, and maybe there are men who have to put a pretense of having an objection to these girlish things.
All I wanted to convey that bangles are the epitome of strength and marital prudence, for Indian women, and using them to ridicule men absolutely sets out a very wrong example.
No doubt our Society is progressing a lot but somewhere there is a void left, which has become a barrier. LGBTs are considered as the impure elements of our society. People are disregarding the fact that the LGBT community is nothing but a creation of God. They need to accept them like other normal beings. Thankfully awareness is been created among straight humans via movies, series, or campaigns.
I just wrote what my heart says. I just want this earth to be a peaceful place to live. I want everyone to respect everyone, love every single creation of God, that's it.
