We all have aspirations, wants, and goals, and it's fun to imagine about what it would be like to hold the championship belt high in the air while the crowd cheers you on. Now it's time to return to reality, and I have a question for you. How much time do you set aside each day to make your goal a reality? When compared to lying on your couch watching TV, the time you spend exercising or doing anything beneficial to get closer to your goal or desire. Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying. If you know how to picture things imaginatively, daydreaming might be beneficial.Recognize that your behaviours will shape your destiny. People who are successful have successful habits, while those who are unsuccessful do not. To make your ambition a reality, you'll need a strategy for dividing your time into productive intervals. All successful people have a plan, stick to it, and use it to track their progress.Work to devote the majority of your time to achieving your goal, i.e. training and conditioning. Read and watch material that will help you improve as a fighter, such as footage of your fights and opponents to see what you need to improve on.If you want to thrive in the MMA world or in life in general, you should devote 90% of your attention and energy to your fight plan and profession. Instead of relaxing back with a beer and watching the game after a long day at work, throw on an instructional dvd to help you learn new tactics or increase your speed or power.Leave weights at the gym, perform cardio, strength train, or practise tactics with your sparring partner.Visualize yourself in a match performing a move you've recently learnt while at work or on your way home, so it's ingrained in your brain and in your arsenal. Focus on your strengths rather than your flaws.People who make things happen, people who watch things happen, and humans who say what just happened are the three types of people. Which of the two are you? So, if you're wondering why your fight career isn't taking off, take an honest inventory of yourself since where we place our concentration in life influences where we'll end up.You'll keep getting what you've always gotten if you keep doing what you've always done. Making your ambitions a reality requires more than luck or the belief that "if it's meant to be, it will happen." It's not magic; it's all about where you place your attention.
