Parenting is not at all easy as we think….it is the process of raising children and providing them with protection and care in order to ensure their healthy development into adulthood.

Parenting or child rearing promotes or supports the physical, emotional, social, spiritual and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood.

Being a parent is one of the most demanding and challenging roles to take on.Ofcourse hardwork pays, and when it comes to parenting, the rewards are the immense joys and pleasures that our children brings us….

How can we ensure that our parenting journey is one of joy and Harmony rather than discord and conflict.. Here is the tips…

1)LOVE Unconditionally:

           Love is the powerful glue that bind a family together and fortifies the relationships that members share with each other. So love your child unconditionally and find ways to make him understand. You can communicate your affection through words and actions like hugging and cuddling.

2)LAUGH with each other:

                It is said laughter is the best medicine, isn't it? A little bit of brainstorming will make you realize that humor and laughter are better alternatives to getting upset. The stress and tension of a moment can be relieved by staying calm and trying to find an element fun in the situation. Also, don't stress yourself over trying to be the perfect parent.

3)LISTEN to each other:

              Meaningful communication between a parent and a child always ensure a better relationship. And the ability to listen is a critical part of communication. If you listen to your child, he will learn to listen to you, and others as well.

4)LEARN from each other:

               Learn to let go and indulge in the silly things that your child finds so exciting. Bring out the child in you by moving out of your comfort zone and without inhibitions. Also, try to learn from your partner's strengths to enjoy the shared responsibilities of parenthood.

Parenting is not easy. Good parenting is hardwork. Succesful parenting is not about achieving perfection. But it doesn't mean that we shouldn't work towards that goal. Set hight standards for ourselves first and then our children second.
