Hi guys..welcome to my another blog. Hope all are safe.
A person with photographic memory can see an object as clearly as if it had been photographed, even after seeing it with their eyes closed. This type of memory is extremely rare and difficult to prove. Many people want to have photographic memories. The mind is adept at processing and storing important visual information. While most people are able to recreate specific parts of what they see, people with photogenic memory claim to be in great detail. Just by looking at it, you may be able to do this.
Are photographic memories real??
Some people are able to memorize complex visual details, such as the architectural features of landmark buildings or entire pages of a book, and later reproduce them from memory without error. , often referred to as "photographic memory". When thinking about "photographic memory", it seems that people with this ability are able to capture visual snapshots like photographs. You can then take a snapshot from memory and zoom in and out on different parts. But no research has been able to prove that true photographic memory exists, at least in this sense.
How does it work??
People who claim to have photogenic memory are able to store large amounts of visual information almost indefinitely after a short visual exposure. The exact reason for this is unknown .
Studies have shown that the brain can process images and store them in the long term memory system after only short exposures. Long term image memory also increases when a person views the same object or scene multiple times. People with photographic memory may be able to transfer more information into long term memory.
Improving Your General Memory
One of the best things you can do to improve your photographic memory is to improve your general memory. There are several ways to do this and I believe it works. The best thing you can do to improve your memory is keep your mind active. Doing crossword puzzles and other mind games can go a long way in training your mind to remember facts, numbers, and eventually pictures. It is the training of the mind to associate information or images with other images or known information. Associations can be used to recall almost anything. This is a sure fire way to make sure you remember something. Associating or chunking information in memory greatly improves your ability to remember.
