Hi guys. Welcome to my another blog. Hope all are safe and good. This blog is about interesting facts about ocean and its information.Lets start the blog.

Our ocean covers more than 70 percent of the earth's surface. Most of life on earth occurs in water. Less than 5 percent of the planet's oceans have been explored. The longest mountain range in the world is underwater.

The ocean can also be green, red, or other shades as light is reflected by floating sediments and particles in the water. Therefore, the deep sea (less than about 200 meters deep) is cold and the average temperature is only 4 degree celsius. Cold water is also heavier because it is denser than the hot water. Cold water sinks under the warm water on the surface and contributes to the coldness of the deep sea. Plankton- small plants and animals that form the basis of most marine food webs. from land to river and sea rainfall, rain physically erodes rock, and acid chemically decomposes rock, carrying dissolved salts and minerals as ions. Ions in the effluent are carried to streams, rivers and the ocean. The term aquatic applies to animals that live in freshwater or saltwater. However, the adjective ocean is most commonly used for saltwater, that is, animals that live in the ocean or the ocean. Water is not really colorless. Even pure water is not colorless, but it has a slightly blue tint that is best seen through a long water column. The blueness in the water is not due to light scattering that makes the sky blue.

The hottest sea in the world is Indian ocean.

This sea borders Asia, Africa and Australia and is the warmest sea in the world. Water temperatures in the Indian ocean range from 66 to 82 degrees fahrenheit(19 to 30 degrees celsius) in the upper layer of the ocean.

6 facts about ocean

  1. Most of our planets are dark, thanks to the ocean
  2. The loudest sound of the sea came from an ice earthquake.
  3. The canyon surface.
  4. The water on the seabed is incredibly hot.
  5. The sea is blue because water absorbs the color of the red part of the light spectrum.
  6. Like a filter, this leaves a color of the blue part of the light spectrum that we see.
