Hi bloggers. Hope you are good. I am back with another blog. This blog is about scents of flowers.

Whenever we think of flowers, first thing that comes to the mind is the smell apart from others such as colors, shapes etc. Even when you pass thru a garden, the fragrance of flowers completely engulfs us. Nature has instilled flowers with beauty, charisma, colors, fragrance and nectar.Sticking your nose in a bouquet bursting with aromas and scents can lift the spirits and the soul whilst also transporting you outside. The scent of flowers has long been an inspiration and ingredient for perfumes & beauty products, and these scents can instantly take us to other places,  evoking people and memories.

We all know that flowers are one of the greatest scented gifts you can give and are one of the best ways to add a delightful aroma to your home, but do you really know why flowers give off certain smells? The pretty blooms pin their hopes on bugs, insects, and even animals to spread their pollen(reproduce), to communicate with other plants, and to attract food. This is one of the key reasons flowers emit pleasing scents to lure the insects and animals.

Smelling flowers have been proven to relieve anxiety and reduce stress levels, alleviating mild depression. This is just one of the reasons why aromatherapy is based on floral fragrances, and those relaxing candles in your home are floral scented. You might have noticed that when you are not having enough sleep in the day, every little thing will annoy you in all possible manners. But if you are available with the fresh and fragrance to flower bouquets, you can promote your sleeping capabilities.  The most common flowers that promote the sleeping capabilities of an individual are Jasmine, Gardenia, and lavender.

Some flower fragrances are so complex in nature, namely that they are made up of so many different compounds and in varying proportions, that scientists have not been able to synthesise them in the laboratory. Different flowers have different scent some may have deep and nice smell some may have dark and creep smell some may have odorless.Extremely strong scented blooms that might be a bit overwhelming should be placed near open windows or large areas where the scent won’t be trapped.
