A small bite of puffer fish can be fatal. Due to the danger, ingestion of fish liver is completely prohibited.

The  chewing gum ban was originally imposed to reduce chewing gum-related pollution in high-rise condominiums, public spaces and public vehicles. Remaining chewing gum  in public areas, elevator buttons, mailboxes, and  keyholes increased  cleaning costs and, in some cases, damaged equipment.

Children's surprise 

The main reason for the ban was that smell pieces of toy could pose a risk of choking to children. The surprise of these children are legal in Canada and Mexico, but imports in the United states are illegal.

Foie gras

Foie gras is banned in more than 12 countries. Force-feeding causes severe damage to the liver of birds, causing a very painful illness known as hepatic lipidosis. Scientific studies have also shown that eating foie gras is associated with a fatal human illness called secondary amyloidosis.

Haggis 

Haggis, a Scottish folk dish that stimulates love and curiosity equally, has been banned in the United States since 1971 because the Food Safety Agency banned the lungs of sheep, one of the main ingredients of haggis. This helps to give the product a unique and brittle texture.

Unpasteurized raw milk

Raw milk is milk that has not been pasteurized to kill  bacteria that can be harmful to the human body. Drinking raw (non-pasteurized) milk increases your risk of developing a serious illness. It is illegal to sell raw  milk for human consumption.
