I back with another exiting content. this is about prison break which happened in my area and yes it is vellore and yes it is vellore fort in which there is jail which is toughest to escape . yes here on august 14, 1995. remember the date. 43 people have escaped the jail on the day which was sensational news on the day of independent day.
this history was now completely forgot by our people and also hidden from our eyes.
who are these 43 people and why they have been put into the jail. then on that days the problem of LTTE was considered to be major problem. those people of LTTE was said by many as terrorist, fighters and so on. on 1991 at 21st may, rajiv gandhi was shot and the reason behind this is done by those 43 people as it was suspected by police of TN and the relation between tamilnadu and srilanka goes worse. those 43 were arrested and been put on jail for months by police. and for government did not reply them for the reason behind their arrest and their questions left un answered by the officials because they suspected them to be terrorists. and also they sent 1000 letters to officials and was fed up. after months they decided to escape the jail which was for all the people who were there in prison.
here comes the plan, there are 4 walls in prison in which they were ther for months, 50+ police officials, 4 watch towers to detect what happens and 50 =ft moat which is 10ft deep. the thing which they used to escape is the plate which the police gave them to eat. the first thing is people can't go across on the top as there will always be police watching so they decided to go under the ground. they started to did down the ground for 10ft depth. it was believed that they would have been digging the hole for 75 days to connect to the passage underground to reach the ground level and to the 4th wall - the moat wall. but on that evening of 14th august there was powercut at the area . it was fortune for the 43 people. they all managed to climb the 4th wall and swam acoss the moat to reach outside which is outside and escaped.
what escape this is ? what a jail break ? wow..!
