Emma always loved antique stores. The smell of old wood and dust fascinated her. One day she stumbled upon an old doll in an antique store, and her heart skipped a beat. It was a beautiful doll, with red curls and a vintage dress. Emma couldn't resist and bought it right away.
As soon as she took it home, strange things began to happen. Emma heard strange noises in the middle of the night, and sometimes, she thought she saw the doll moving on its own. At first, she thought it was just her imagination, but as the days went by, Emma became increasingly scared.
One night, Emma woke up to find the doll on the foot of her bed, staring at her with its lifeless eyes. Emma froze, unable to move. She felt like the doll was staring right through her, and that it knew her deepest, darkest secrets. Emma tried to scream, but no sound came out.
From that moment on, Emma knew that the doll was cursed. It was possessed by an evil spirit, and it was slowly taking over her life. She tried to get rid of it, but the doll always found its way back to her house.
One day, Emma decided to take the doll to a priest. She hoped that he could bless it and get rid of the evil spirit. However, when the priest saw the doll, he told Emma that it was too late. The doll was too powerful, and the only way to get rid of it was to burn it.
Emma hesitated. She couldn't bear the thought of burning the beautiful doll, but she knew that it was the only way to break the curse. So, she took the doll to the backyard and set it on fire. As the flames engulfed the doll, Emma felt a sense of relief. She thought that the curse had been broken, and that she could finally live a normal life.
However, the next day, Emma woke up to find the doll on her nightstand, completely unharmed. Emma screamed, knowing that the curse was still there, and that the doll was still possessed by the evil spirit.
Emma realized that she was trapped. The cursed doll had taken over her life, and there was no way out. From that day on, Emma was never seen again. Some say that the doll still haunts the antique store, waiting for its next victim to come along and fall under its curse.
