Hey there!!!
I am back with another story. Today I am going to share the experience of visiting Nainital. It was my third trip of that year. I was in 6 standard. I remember our school used to teach German for three years. It was my first-year learning German. Our German teacher held a class test. I scored first. After few days he told our class that the person who scored first is getting a chance to go to Nainital’s Jim Corbett National Park for Geothe Institute’s German camp. I was excited as hell for this. Finally, it was a trip out of my state. All formalities and packing were completed.

I was asked to reach Bahuguna Chauraha at 8:30 a.m... After reaching there I got to know that our teacher wasn’t there. But our female escort, Ms. Manju was standing there. Within few minutes, other students also reached the site. We all were gossiping and deciding what to in the Bus. After waiting for 2 or more hours, our teacher arrived. He told us that a bus from Lucknow is coming to pick us. There were already 4 school’s participants and teachers in that bus. The bus arrived, picked us and we were ready for our trip. I sat with my friend Tanu. She was sweet and friendly. Another girl from our group, Mansi Didi sat with our teacher ahead us. All the boys, Varun, Hari Om and Akash sat with our German teacher behind us. I and Tanu ate, slept and gossiped with boys all day. Finally, we reached Nainital in night. On the way to hotel we saw a huge dam and we were all very excited as we were travelling on a dam. On reaching our hotel, Roar resort in Rampur, we were asked to go directly to the dining hall. What a huge dining hall it was. We ate there and got the keys for our room. Three students per room. I was the in charge of keys. At first, we couldn’t find our room. But later, a worker helped us to find it. There was a hall, two rooms and a balcony in our room. Another school was staying in one of those rooms. We went in our room, and were shocked. It was such a nice place with best view. And most importantly their bathroom was well cleaned and large enough. We all enjoyed the stay there.

Our mate Tanu was ill. She wasn’t feeling well and wanted to puke. We participated in a lot of activities and skits and enjoyed a lot. It was a wonderful experience. Tanu recovered very fast and was ready to participate too. We took a view of whole hotel and clicked some pictures. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any of them. We were given caps and id cards. And when we were being taken to the playground of the hotel, I lost my id card. In the playground, there were a lot of air-filled things to play. I can’t explain well about them. There were a lot of hurdles solving games. I tried the maximum of it. The one in which we had to go there by net and then climbing rope and then walking on just little pieces of wood was my favorite. We left that place when it was dark. We fetched our eve-snacks and were told that they are organizing a dance party for us. Late at night, we reached the auditorium. It was a disco. We danced on the dance floor for hours, enjoying with strangers. It was the best dance party ever.
18th sept:-
This was the main day. we were going to Jim Corbett finally. Each 6 people per jeep. It was an open safari jeep. My hairs were all on the person sitting behind me. We saw a lot of wild animals. Including an elephant family. After safari we came back to our hotel. Very soon, we were going to leave this place. We may never meet people like them again. We visited hotel once again. I submitted the keys of our room there. And we left in that bus for our place. We had a stop in Bareilly. It was the longest stop ever. Our teachers packed Aloo Ke Parathas for us. We got them when we reached bus. We ate them. Tanu and I were listening to song. Well, she is the best person to travel with. She never fights for things and agrees well with others. At night, we reached our city. It was late. My father was waiting for me there. I hugged him, sat on the motorcycle and went back to home. We all were paying goodbyes to each other. We were playing Atlas before reaching my place. I like the night travels a lot. It was one of the best trips I ever had.
