The time to live your best life is in the summer. Our mood is improved by longer days and plenty of sun exposure thanks to vitamin D and serotonin. Who could want more? There is, sadly, a minor drawback to this wonderful season. It's too hot to stand.
Before we even leave the house, we sweat, are uncomfortable, and are dehydrated. Turning up the air conditioning and staying inside till autumn would be a simple option. Unfortunately, things aren't that easy. As a result, we devised a tonne of fun methods to battle the heat and stay cool!
1.DIY Ac time:
No problem without AC! A standard fan, a bowl, and some ice are all you need. First, fill the dish with ice. The bowl should then be put in front of your fan. The fan may now be turned on, and presto! The ice is melting, and the fan is circulating the room with the evaporating chilly air. Just keep in mind to replenish the bowl and pile up on ice. AC who?
2.Freeze your smoothie
Is there a tastier way to chill yourself than by indulging in a cold, tasty treat? There are several sweet frozen treats available for consumption. Berries and other fruits are delicious and nutrient-dense. Additionally, freeze your juices or smoothies for a convenient, healthy snack that you can always have on hand!
3.Egyptian sleep:
The sleep habits of the ancient Egyptians were advanced for their time in many ways. They would immerse their blankets in cold water before bed to cool off. This technique can be improved by using a fan while you sleep. You will become cooler as the water from the wet towel or sheet on top of you evaporates. To avoid soaking the bed, you might also place a dry towel under you.
4.water fight:
while having fun and staying cool? I'm in, please! Prepare your water balloons and water guns, conceal your electronic equipment, and choose a foe. Also, don't worry about the moist cabinets or flooring. The wonderful aspect is that the heat will make things dry incredibly quickly!
5.Dress(less) :
Less can be more. especially in the sweltering summer months. Choose fabrics that will allow your skin to breathe, such as cotton or silk, and dress loosely. Don't forget to wear hats with wide brims or other types of headgear to protect yourself from the sun. The hat is your friend!
6.Save planet:
It seems like a lot to ask, doesn't it? But you can reduce those temps while also benefiting the environment. Shut off your lights and stay away from the oven. If you avoid using electric equipment, your home is less likely to become overheated from the inside.
7.Eat light:
Salads are very popular in warmer climates for a reason. They won't make you lethargic in the summer heat and are much simpler to stomach. At all costs, avoid greasy foods. Even though those mouthwatering burgers look alluring, sticking to fruits and vegetables will make you feel much better. These nutritious treats are so watery that they will quickly keep you hydrated and cool you off.
8.keep your feet cool:
Go barefoot. The sweat on your feet evaporates easier, cooling you down in the process. Another great idea is to treat yourself to an ice bath for your feet. This is especially helpful if you had a long hot day of walking or standing around.
9.Use essential oils:
Because menthol has cooling effects, pay attention to the oils that include it. Minty oils, such as those from peppermint or spearmint, will work. Use them at home with a diffuser or include them in your travel body mist. The cold feeling may not linger, but the invigorating smell will.
10.cold showers:
Take a nice, cool shower if all else fails and you're still overheated. This will quickly make you feel cooler, but be careful not to get too hot as soon as you finish drying yourself. This is why we advise keeping wet and letting yourself dry by air; it will definitely make you feel cooler.
