The opening scene of the movie shows Nimisha taking a dancing lesson. The ile on her face tells us that she is content and that this is something that makes her happy. As the family prepares to host the groom's relatives, the opening views are interested with scenes of food being prepared at Nimishas home. She married and appears in her husband's home a few scenes later.

Her life develops in the kitchen as she becomes accustomed to the family customs. What is ultimately designed to appear like a home raja gradually develops into a nightmare, a grind from which she is unable to escape.
