So here I am. Back with the second part. Couldn't resist myself from finishing this blog :) Now the places which I'm gonna share with you guys in this part are like “heaven for the photographers”. The previous three spots were also good for photography but the coming three are not what you commonly see. Without any delay lets get this show on the road ;)
The winter lovers should not miss this one. It's the place of “typical, showed on television” snow covered forests. There is Van Vihar Park, Manali Sanctuary, Hadimba Park with gigantic and tall Deodar trees.
Jogini Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in Manali. It's also a pilgrimage place. The Hampta Pass is an easy to difficult ranged trekking spot. It gives the awesome view of Kullu Valley and Lahaul Valley.
Another spot is special for both photographers and bikers. Rohtang Pass! Experiencing the serene beauty of Manali on a long drive that too on bike! What else do you want :)
Now this one is quite a fascination for me. You know me, a geography lover! Yellowstone is a recreation area atop a volcanic hotspot. It has got a large number of geysers, hotsprings, canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests and many more. It's also abundant in wildlife.
Do you know that if Yellowstone erupts it will wipe out the whole USA from the world map? When you actually see it you can't imagine that how something so beautiful can be so destructive!
The Grand Prismatic Spring is a hot spring. It might look like a pond in the pictures but it has the size bigger than a football field and it's deeper than a 10-storeyed building. It gets its spectacular hues from the bacteria residing in it.
The Old Faithful Geyser is one of the first geysers to get a name. It is still faithful as it was 150 years back. It erupts usually in every 90 minutes span. Lamar Valley is the best place to see the wildlife of Yellowstone. It's more famous for bison. The Grand Canyons of Yellowstone River is a must see spot. The Artist Point is from where you can see the canyons over the river and the Lower Falls.
Now one might think what is there on Antarctica. It's a no-man land. And that is the main reason to visit it because there are no humans to ruin the beauty of it. And also I love penguins more than people… so yeah guess it would make sense now to you ;)
The Ross Sea is a floating body of ice. There is also an active volcano, Mt. Erebus. The hot water stream flowing beneath the shelf has created the beautiful Ice Caves. Lemaire Channel is a good spot for photographers as it gives the mirror view of the surrounding landscapes like towering glaciers, cliffs and icebergs.
Now this is the place I'll love to visit there first. South Georgia - it's a “penguin packed” island :) Can you just imagine? There is a special colony of them like they are in numbers of thousands and lakhs! South Shetland Island is an active volcanic zone. It's also famous for penguins and elephant seals.
So here we come to the end of the show :( Hope you liked both the parts and found that interesting and helpful ! I'll meet you soon with a new blog. Until then stay safe, stay happy!
