Just not the beauty of nature, the place where I stayed Sterling fern hill resort just added flowers and vibrant colours, and good service was provided.

Lake boat house
Ooty boat house also called Ooty lake, 1 km distance from Ooty bus stand, opened by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation. Boating is an outstanding attraction at the lake. The boat house extends boating capabilities with Paddle boats, Row boats, and Motor boats. It also accentuates a park, a mini train and an amusement park. Ooty lake is an artificial lake constructed by John Sullivan, in 1824.
The lake is encircled by woodlands of Eucalyptus trees with a railway chain running ahead of one shore. During the summer season in May, boat races and boat pageants are orchestrated for two days.
The best place for children (kids), lots to relish for them, you can find all the below exhibition inside the Ooty lake.

Rose Garden
Government Rose Garden was established in 1995, over the terraced slopes of Elk Hill of Ooty. Since the environment and the soil of these spiralled porches are favourable for rose cultivation, a surplus of thousands of Roses diversity can be glimpsed in this garden.
The tourists relish the scenery of various rose plants of numerous unique biological and crossbred kinds in this garden all through the years, encompassing even the tremendous green and black rose
Ooty Botanical Garden
This huge botanical garden was designed in 1848 at the lower slopes of Doddabetta Peak, the highest mountain of Nilgiri Hills. This terraced garden of 55 acres is arranged in six sections according to the plant types and the diagrams; namely Lower Garden, New Garden, Fountain Terrace, Italian Garden, Conservatory and Nursery. The Lower Garden comprises the vast green lawn of unique grass, a fern cabin and many outstanding trees that inspire the curiosities of the botanists.
Italian Garden was so named as it was created by the Italian war prisoners of World War I and now it contains various blooming plants of all significant lineage and a crescent-shaped lily pond with many other aquatic plants. The conservatory section was established in 1912 for the group cultivation of different kinds of annual and perennial flowering plants.
The Greenhouse is built on the elevated porches and contains eight glasshouses to grow various species of Cactus orchids and other potted plants.
