Often, there are times you like to be by yourself. Don't you?
I do.
It has to do nothing with whom I love or how much I value my relations. It's simply being with self ( which we often miss out on the most).
Wanting to be in solitude does not mean you don't like anybody. It means you have spent so much time with others that you miss the conversation between you and you π
Often we are bombarded with questions regarding why we like spending alone time. At times people do not understand that it's not because we have issues with people or we have something against them that we spend sometime with ourselves. We simply spend time to get a taste of solitude, with no one else's company but only ours.
Do you spend time by yourself?
How well do you like it?
I love spending time in solitude. It is healing. It helps developing a relationship with myself which I often fail to. Sometimes we're so busy engaged with the outside world that we fail to look inside.
Exhaustion often makes me retire to myself. Only and only if I spend time in solitude can I untie the tangled thoughts. There's an inner being, you know? I guess you do.
This is the one you have a conversation with. It guides you. It helps you and it makes you peaceful.
Word of CAUTION: If you're extremely upset or you have been suffering from depression, avoid being alone.
Basking in solitude often provides answers to your many questions. We learn to enjoy our own company and return to the place we come from.
It's good to stay connected to your own being. It keeps you grounded. The interactions with outside world often gets you exhausted and that's when you are to return to the safest place, yourself !
This busy life and so much of complexities have led to lack of self love in people. Yes. Self love is so very missing and that's because we are yet to know ourselves whereas we know the world!π
What do you think of spending time in solitude?
I would suggest you to try . Talk to yourself. Talk motivation, positivity, encouragement. Talk love and talk peace. These inner conversations will actually benefit you!
As lockdown restrictions have eased I need to go to the office. When I return, the solitary rides in the evening winds have a different charm.
Solitude is necessary at times. Sometimes it restores your sanity and at other times you rediscover yourself π
PS: The ride stories are treasured for another day !!
