Arulnidhi's Movie Review is quiet late but it needs a special mention of the actor's script selection.
SMALL INTRO ABOUT HIS FILMOGRAPHY:
Arulnithi started his film career in 2010. He was offered the lead role in Pandiraj's Vamsam after his cousin, Udhayanidhi Stalin, had opted out and had gained him positive reviews for his acting. There after his peculiar script selection attracted many audiences towards him. He did many films like Mounaguru, Thagararu, etc. “Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum” is Chimbu Deven’s trademark style, filled with quirky characters, fantastical elements, and loads of comedy and satire.
In 2015, his horror film Demonte Colony, directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu,is inspired by real life events centred around a supposedly haunted colony in Chennai called Demonte Colony. The film received mostly positive reviews from critics and became an commercial success at the box office.
Then he did many movies like “Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum”, “Aarathu Sinam”, “Iravukku Aayiram Kangal”, “D Block”, “Dejavu”, “Diary”, etc.
The Magical D's:
Arulnithi's script selection was remarkable, his 3 movies which came back to back with the Alphabet 'D' needs a special mention. They are D block, Dejavu and Diary. All the three movies are of different elements of the same to slightly different genres.
●D Block is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language coming-of-age psychological thriller film.
●Dejavu is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language mystery thriller film.
●Diary is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language supernatural mystery thriller film.
All these movies which got released in the same year with same to slightly variable genres didn't fail to amaze us with different plot ideas. Amazed with each movie release the people were waiting for the next, next release of Arulnithi's D list movies. The three movies entertained the great number of audience and gained critics attention with unpredictable plot twists and climax.
The movie Dejavu's BGM by Ghibran, added suspense and tension in the film.
The director, Vijay Kumar Rajendran, successfully created suspenseful scenes and timed jump scares perfectly in D Block.
Diary is a must-watch for thriller lovers. Engaging storyline,Arulnithi's topnotch performance, and a gripping storyline with unexpected twists and turns and a satisfying climax needs a huge round of applause.
Conclusion:
If you're a fan of Tamil thrillers, Diary is the clear winner. Dejavu and D Block are worth watching for their suspenseful moments, but temper your expectations.
Future Outlook:*
As Tamil cinema continues to explore the thriller genre, we hope to see more emphasis on character development and nuanced storytelling. With promising debuts and established directors pushing boundaries, the future looks exciting.
