“To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction” this is what Newton's third law says but this is something which is not just applicable in science but also in real life. Whatever you are going to do, you have to face the outcomes related to it which in Hindu terminology is said to be as “Karma”. Karma is nothing but just the outcome, the result to whatever you are doing. Like a teacher keeps record of all our pranks and nuisance and then give us assessment and punishment accordingly. Same is the life cycle where teacher is God, pranks are our stupid works and punishment is the Karma. But now the question is can our punishment be changed or can we do something that we don't have to face the punishment?
Yes! We can. In order to change it we have to improve our work. We have to improve our thoughts, our intentions and our works.
As Bhagwad Gita says that there are five things- “God, human, nature, time and karma.” Out of these five, the first four i.e God, human, nature and time are fixed and hence can't be changed but the last one i.e Karma can be changed and the only way to change it is changing what you are doing now.
As we know that time is “past, present and future” out of which past has occured and hence is unchangeable but you can control your present and hence determine your future accordingly. Don't be scared of what you will have to face because of something you did in past, just focus on the present.
Start living in the present irrespective of what you had done in the past and what is going to happen in future. Start living like a kid who is just focused on what's happening now and enjoys every moment of the present because he is unknown of the things- past and future. Make that kid inside you alive and just “start doing good to have good.”
Don't disturb your karma cycle because of someone who did wrong to you. Just leave everything on God, don't pray bad for the one who did wrong to you. Instead, just smile and let go.
“Letting go” all the bad will change your life in a way that you will have never imagined. Stop holding on to what someone said to you or did to you because they will have to face their karma but don't let your karma affect you because of all that.
Just “let go and have patience”
God has plans for his every child which turn out to be the best in every possible way.
