Many of you have a fear of how to crack your IELTS exams. One of the modules is listening.  Here are some basics tips that can help you to improve your listening  skills everyday.

 1. Start up with basic listening tests. You always do listening with difficult audio scripts. Remember each and everything can only become easy when you are aware about the basics of that language. 
2. Solve the basics listenings first, and when you started getting 7,8,9 bands in these listenings then go on for the difficult ones. 
3. Keep your full attention on the question  types, word limits, uses of  synonym  .

4. Listening has no shorcuts, they need due attention and practice. 
5. For additional improvements, you can also listen some podcasts, english songs and even watch some english movies , first with subtitles and then without them.  
6. You could start up with the cambridge books and solve the listening of them. These are all of basic levels. 
7. Beware of your spelling mistakes, even a mistake of writing ( sheep) - the correct answer , as (sheeps) - will also loose your one mark.

8. Pay attention on the use of sentence structure and read the instructions carefully whether it is one word, two  word or three/ four word limit. 
9. Chances might occur when there is a limit of three word answer and the correct answers are also comprised  of one word. For this, the main aspect is just to read that sentence carefully alongwith listening that audio. Then decide the word limit. 
10. Don’t waste your time on cutting the wrong writtens again and again or erasing your answer on practice sheets. Just make one line to cut it and write the correct answer immediately without wating time otherwise you will probably  miss the correct answers.

These are some simple , basic but the valuable ways to improve your listening bandscore. As the listening is the only that part which can raise your overall band score , you must be prepared for it .
