HIGHLIGHTS
In October, the Redmi Pad might go on sale everywhere.
In India, it may debut at the same time.
Xiaomi hasn't officially confirmed the Redmi Pad's launch information.
According to reports, Xiaomi is preparing to introduce a low-cost tablet under the Redmi sub-brand. The new Android tablet, said to be dubbed Redmi Pad, is set to go on sale worldwide starting next month. It may possibly make its debut in India, where both Xiaomi and Redmi have sizable Android market shares. If the rumours are true, Xiaomi is now preparing to compete with companies like Realme, Nokia, Oppo, and Samsung that already sell inexpensive tablets in the nation. The Redmi brand from Xiaomi is well-known for its products under Rs 20,000. This pricing range can also apply to the Redmi Pad.
The Redmi Pad will be offered in three colours: Graphite Grey, Mint Green, and Moonlight Silver, according to online portal Pricebaba. We have learned from a source that there will be two storage options for the Remdi Pad: 3GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. This suggests that the business is carefully considering how to introduce the tablet without hurting sales of its more expensive Xiaomi Pad 5, which is also offered in India with up to 256GB capacity.
Interesting: a Redmi Pad design reveal was supposedly released on social media by Xiaomi Kuwait. A black camera module is visible on the rear of the Android tablet, assuming the screenshot from MySmartPrice is accurate. According to additional sources, the Redmi Pad 5 is said to include a 7.800mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging, an 11.2-inch LCD screen with 2K resolution, and a MediaTek MT8781 CPU. On the rear, it may include an 8-megapixel camera.
