Suriya 42 is the working title of the movie, which will be made in 3D and released in up to 10 different languages.
Siva wrote and directed the next movie starring actor-director Suriya, and the motion poster was released on Friday. The massively special effects filled billboard suggests a big screen period extravaganza, marking a first in both Suriya and Siva's respective careers. The trailer begins with an eagle swooping above a battlefield, showing soldiers engaged in sword and axe combat while mounted on their horses.

Soorari Pottru, for the uninitiated, received every significant National Film Award in the category for feature films in all languages, including Best Feature Film, Best Actor and Actress (Suriya and Aparna Balamurali), Best Screenplay, and Best Background Score.
Five major honours were given to the movie, including best feature film, best actor (Suriya), best actress (Aparrna Balamurali), best script, and best background score.

Disha Patani will play the female lead in the Suriya-starrer, dubbed "The Prestigious Mega Project," with Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Anand Rah appearing in supporting roles. Suriya 42 will reportedly be produced on a large scale and released in 10 different languages. UV Creations is funding the pan-Indian project, and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
Recently, Suriya 42 began filming, and the cast and crew were there for both the big launch and the pooja ceremony. The yet-untitled movie will be filmed in and near Goa and Chennai. In Chennai, the first schedule was held, and on September 13, Goa will host the second part of filming. According to rumours, the filmmaker intended to film a large-scale brawl in which some 250 bouncers would take part.
