The schedule for India's domestic cricket season 2022–23 was released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy will come after the two multi-day competitions. The 38 teams competing in the two white-ball events will be divided into three groups of 8 teams and two groups of 7 teams, according to the article.
The top domestic event in India, the Ranji Trophy, will include two categories: Elite and Plate. In the league stage, each club will play 7 games in the Elite Group, which consists of 32 teams and is divided into 4 groups of 8 teams.
