HELLO BLOGGERS!!
Based on the C. S. Lewis novel series of the same name, The Chronicles of Narnia is a fantasy film series and media franchise. The show centres on the exploits of young people in the land of Narnia, led by the knowledgeable and strong talking lion Aslan, who is considered to be Narnia's legitimate king. The Pevensie siblings are among the children who appear in the films a lot, and the White Witch, usually referred to as Queen Jadis, is a major foe. Video games, digital shows, and short films are also part of the brand.
Three of the seven books were made into films: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010), Prince Caspian (2008), and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (2005). These three films combined brought in over $1.5 billion at box office globally.
THE LION, THE WHITE WITCH, THE WARDROBE.
During World War II, four siblings—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie—were transported to live in the countryside with the eccentric Professor Kirke. On a wet day, the kids explore the house, and Lucy, the youngest, discovers a huge closet. Lucy enters and discovers herself in an unfamiliar, wintry forest. When Lucy runs into the Faun Tumnus, he's taken aback to see a human girl. Lucy is informed by Tumnus that she has arrived in a new world called Narnia. Lucy says yes when Tumnus asks her to tea. After Lucy and Tumnus enjoy a delicious tea, the faun breaks down in grief and admits that he is the wicked White Witch's servant. Narnia is enchanted by the Witch, so it is perpetually winter and never Christmas. Tumnus clarifies that his mission is to apprehend human beings. Lucy begs Tumnus to set her go, and he grants her wish.
After leaving Narnia, Lucy excitedly shares her wardrobe experience with her siblings. But they don't think she's real. Lucy's siblings dispute her claim that she was gone for hours, saying she was only gone for a few seconds. The Pevensie kids discover that the wardrobe is just a typical piece of furniture when they peek behind it. Lucy is cruelly teased by Edmund about her made-up nation until one day he witnesses her disappearing inside the closet. Edmund finds himself in Narnia after following Lucy. Instead of seeing Lucy, he encounters the White Witch who Tumnus had warned Lucy about. Edmund is greeted by the Witch as the Queen of Narnia. Edmund becomes obsessed with the dessert after the Witch feeds him magical Turkish Delight. The Witch persuades Edmund to bring his brothers back to meet her by playing on his gluttony and greed.
