Hey all,
This blog revolves around a very common and well-known topic but when it comes to applying, we all generally tend to forget it. We forget it because it’s our human tendency to forget useful things or we usually stop thinking rationally as we let our emotions and feelings overpower our rational mind and thinking. It’s okay because stability and a rational mindset can only be achieved with time and practice. The main topic of concern here is moving on. Yes, it sounds really easy and achievable but believe me it’s not that easy. I have seen many people stuck in their past, not mentally present anywhere just physically there, regretting their past actions, missing out on so much, having depression because of this habit of too much overthinking and what not.
People who have faced such things or many aspects that are connected to it will know what I’m trying to say. Even if our near or dear ones gets anyone one of it, we get affected, people around us get affected because it is something that affects not only the person who is suffering from it but also the people around him/her get affected because it has that negative vibe to it that consumes the person and it’s very obvious that no one wants to see anyone in their close circle like this.
So, to avoid such scenarios you must know the art of moving on by heart. Moving on is necessary. Because sticking on to one thing and overthinking it can be problematic but letting go of things and believing in the future and enjoying the present can be becoming. I know it’s easy to say but difficult to apply but it’s not that hard if you try. Think of it as a new challenge that life has for you and work accordingly. Like whenever I feel low or distracted by my past, I try and distract my mind from such things and start doodling or I complete my pending work. This way I stop every memory that may affect my mental sanity and peace and also get a lot of work done. And I won’t lie, there are times when even these things don’t work for me then the best solution to it can be listening to music and it works for almost everybody. And if not then try doing something that consumes your time and distracts your mind.
Thank you.
