Without any further delay, let's move towards the story.

There are many beautiful islands present in the world which are always stay full with the tourists. Exploring islands is the favorite thing for any traveler. But do you know, there is one island that no one should visit even if they want to? Because government of that island also find it too dangerous. There is something on that island which causes paranormal activities. 

The haunted island is present in Italy and it's name is Poveglia Island. The tourism of the island is also banned by Italy. So, what's the reason behind the dangerousness of this island?

Poveglia island is also known as the island of death. The island is famous for it's tourism before but something happen and the tourist spot turned into the haunted place. 

In the 16th century, Bubonic plaque is taking many lives in Italy. People are infected from bubonic plaque in the whole Europe but the country which is most infected is Italy. The disease is transferring from one person to another so the government of Italy decides to transfer the infected people to the Poveglia Island. The island is used for plaque quarantine center. People who died from the plaque also buried in the island. Slowly, the island gets full from the infected people, the populations of infected people on the island was in lakhs.

Those infected people never get a chance to visit back home. Many historical people also said that one lakh sixty thousand people were burn together on that island to control the number of infected people. 

After some time, Italy face another pandemic named Kala Bukhar. The same thing get repeated with those who get infected. Because of the incidents, the place is like the hell of the Earth. After some time, a mental asylum is constructed on the island and the paranormal activities begin from it. The patients and staff of the asylum claims to see the ghost and spirits. The people claims that it is difficult to find difference between living and dead in night. 

The island becomes the most haunted place in the world. The staff of mental asylum claims that they listen many screams at night. Also, the spirits possessed the patients of asylum. 

Many doctors and patients died in the mysterious way. The mental asylum closed after some time.
