This event is of 80's where a 19 years old boy killed a 40 years old man, police arrested the 19 years old boy and the boy said in court that he don't killed that man but devil made him do this.
All this start from 1980 when Karl Gledzer, his wife Judy, their daughter Debby and their son David shifts to a new house. Gledzer family is very happy as they buy this new house at a very low cost but they didn't know that they have to pay very big for that. After few days of shifting in the new house, David started feeling something strange and he saw the spirit of a old man in the house many times. The problem increases when the spirit also started talking with him and whenever David saw that spirit, he feels many cuts on his body. David talks about this with his family and told them that the spirit of old man said to leave this house. His family thinks that he only hallucinating these things as he is not able to adjust in that new place. His family take him to the doctors but this doesn't help, they also take the help of father from church. But the problem only increases with time, Now the David can saw that spirit every time. David also talks something strange many times. Gledzer family hears the noise of shouting at night from David's room.
Gledzer family now takes the help of best paranormal experts of that time for their 11 year old son David. Those paranormal experts are Ed warren and his wife Lorraine Warren. Debby, sister of David, called famous Fathers from church for the exorcism of David. Debby also called her boyfriend Arne for helping her family.
During exorcism, David changed and started hitting people around him. Many people present there at the time of exorcism but no one is able to control the 11 year old child. David situation becomes more critical during the time of exorcism. Arne ( Debby's boyfriend) is not able to saw David in this situation, so he grabbed him and said “ fight with me if you have guts”. After some time, David came back to senses. David is totally fine after some time and now also don't saw that spirit. Everything came back to normal after some time. In an Interview, Ed and Lorrain warren told that, there are 43 spirits in that house and every spirit wants David body, but the spirit that is most strong is visible to David.
After some time of all that, Debby and Arne shifted to a new house, their landlord name is Ellen. Arne's sister Wanda and Debby's 9 years old cousin Mary also lived with them. Arne becomes more silent and serious now, he always said to Debby that he feels the spirit of an old women around him. One day, Ellen drinks too much and play loud music and said to do dance to everyone but Arne not liked this behavior of Ellen. Argument started between both of them and Debby don't want that all this happened in front of Wanda and Debby so she take them out.
When they return home, Ellen grabbed Mary and stopped her from going to her room, Arne behaves very strange after seeing this, his voice become very heavy and his eyes started shinning. It feels that Arne is changed into a Demon. He killed Ellen with a Knife.
Police arrest him but he said to them that Devil made him to that. Ed and Lorrain warren also told them that Arne is possessed during the murder. It is the first case of US in which the spirit is the prime suspect of the murder.
