Hey people, I hope you all are doing great, so here I am back with another blog.
I am going to tell you stories about the urban legends of Japan, and these are pretty famous there. Some people believe that these urban legends exist in real life, and some believe that they only exist in stories.
1.Nure Onna
Nure Onna is a Japanese demon that is found near rivers or in the sea. The face of Nure Onna resembles a woman, and the body resembles a snake. Legends believe that Nure Onna is a monster, and she feeds on humans.
Nure Onna carries a child-like bundle and hands it to her victim to hold; however, the bundle becomes too heavy to hold and attaches to the victim's body as soon as the victim realizes it is not a baby. Because of the heavy weight of the bundle, the victim is not able to run, and then Nure Onna attacks the victim.
Nure Onna does not run fast, and that’s why she tricks her victim with the heavy weight of the bundle. It is said that if you want to avoid Nure Onna, you should wear gloves before taking the bundle from a lady so you can throw it whenever you want because it will not attach to your body.
2.Aka Manto
Aka Manto is a male spirit, or we can say a male ghost, which haunts public or school washrooms. It is said that Aka Manto occupies the last stall of the washroom, and whenever any person goes there, Aka Manto appears in front of the person.
Aka Manto gives his victim two choices to his victim, to choose between something blue and something red, like blue rock or red rock. If the person chooses the red one, Aka Manto will pull out the spine of the person, and if the person chooses the blue one, Aka Manto will squeeze every drop of blood from that person’s body.
It is said that if you ever face Aka Manto in your life and you simply ignore the question of choosing between red and blue, then you will be safe from death.
So that’s all. I hope you like this blog, and please tell me if you want to read more like it.
However, if you have seen the famous Netflix series Squid Games, then you know that the director takes inspiration from the stories of Aka Manto.
Thank you
