Akash came out of the airport and the cab started waiting. He had already booked the cab. He was thinking that the cab should come at the right time and take him to the destination at the right time.
In no time a scintillating car stopped near him, seeing that Akash wondered for a moment whether it was the cab he had booked. His guess was right, it was the same cab.
A driver came out of the car and opened the rear door of the car for Akash. As soon as Akash sat down, he handed him a sheet of paper and said, "Sir! Our mission statement is written on this paper. You sit comfortably and read it. Till then I'll put your stuff in the trunk."
"Oh" shocked Akash took that 'mission statement' and started reading it. It read – “Welcome to our cab service. We will try our best to get you to your destination at an affordable price, safely and as quickly as possible. You will not face any kind of problem. Your journey will be good."
A smile appeared on Akash's face as she read the 'Mission Statement'. Then he took a look inside the car. The car was clean. By then the cab driver had already sat on the driving seat.
He turned and asked Akash, "Sir! Is AC temperature ok? If you want to increase or decrease it, feel free to let me know.
Akash said, “No, it is not needed. AC temperature is fine.
After this the cab driver extended a card to the sky and said, "Sir, this card has complete details of all the radio stations. Please let me know which radio station you want to listen to. I'll play that."
Akash took the card. Then the cab driver said, "Sir! All today's news papers are also available here. Tell me what you want to read.
Akash took a news paper to read.
The cab driver again asked, "Sir! Will you have some tea or coffee?"
Akash replied, "Actually, I wanted a soft drink."
"'There is a small fridge right in front of you, sir. You will find chill water there. Some variety of soft drinks will be available. You can also eat ice cream if you want.
Akash was surprised by the facility being provided in the car. He was thinking about all this that the cab driver again said, "Sir, if you want to ask something about this city, then I can tell you about it here. In this way you will also get the information here and the road will also be cut easily.
Akash didn't ask about the city, but a question he had been thinking about for a long time, he asked, "Brother, tell me, do you always treat every customer this way? Do you talk like this? Do you give him all these facilities?"
The cab driver replied, "Yes sir. But I started this 1 year ago. I have been driving a cab since 5 years. But earlier it did not do all this. This change brought a story in me. One day while driving a cab, I was listening to a story on the radio. That was the story of the eagle and the duck. It was told in that story how ducks always complain by quack-quack. At the same time, the eagle always keeps flying high in the sky. It was told in that story that if we want to become something different, then we have to do something different from this world. Just this story stuck in my mind. When I saw my fellow cab drivers, I found that they are also doing the same work that I am doing. He worked tirelessly throughout the day and used to complain about life. I was doing the same thing. But that day I thought I should do something different. Just started changing my cabs from that day onwards. Slowly I started adding one facility each and till date I am doing it. You are very lucky sir that you got a chance to drive with me today because my cab is always booked. Once a passenger comes with me, he always wants to go with me. He takes my number and calls me when needed. Many times I book, then send it to my friends and they don't let them face any problem. You also take this my card sir. If you ever need me, then you will definitely remember.
Akash had never got such a good driver till date. This journey of his became special for him.
Moral Of the Story Is:
Stop complaining about the duck in life, because then life will just be a complaint. That fun in life will no longer be there. If you want to enjoy life, then keeping your thinking high, you have to fly high in the sky like a hawk. Above all, something different from the world has to be done. Only then will you be able to achieve a different name and a different position. Just do something that others want to follow you and want to be like you. That is the flight of life.
