Welcome back guys! to my another new blog. I hope you all are doing great and having good health. As you have seen today's topic. So let's start with a short story….

The process of learning starts as soon as we are born on the earth, as we grow up, the process of learning also expands, soon we learn to get up, sit, speak, walk. With this growing up process, sometimes our ego becomes bigger than us and then we stop learning and start making mistakes. While talking about this arrogance obstructs our path of development, I am reminded of an incident, which would be good to discuss here.

Once upon a time, the great thinker of Russia named Ouspesky once went to meet Saint Gurdjieff at his house. Both of them started discussing various topics. Ouspesky said to Saint Gurdjieff, although I have acquired much knowledge through deep study and experience, but I want to know something more. can you help me something? Gurdjieff knew that Ouspesky was a great scholar of his subject, of which he was also a little proud, so talking straight would not help. So he, after thinking for a while, picked up a blank piece of paper and pointed it at Ouspesky, "It's good that you want to learn something. But how can I understand what you have learned so far and what? You have not learned. So you should write on this paper both what you know and what you do not know. It is pointless to discuss what you already know and what you do not. You know, it would be better to discuss that only.

It was simple, but a bit difficult for Ouspesky. His pride of being knowledgeable was dusted. Ouspesky knew a lot about the subject like the soul and the divine, but he did not even think about the substance and the difference. Hearing Gurdjieff's words, they fell into thought. Even after thinking for a long time, when he did not understand anything, he handed over the blank paper to Gurdjieff as it was and said - Sir, I do not know anything. You opened my eyes today. Gurdjieff was very impressed by Ouspesky's humbly words and said - "Well, now you have learned the first thing to know that you know nothing. This is the first step to knowledge. Now taught you something."

And can be told. That is, an empty vessel can be filled, but it is not possible to fill a drop of knowledge in a vessel full of ego. If we keep ourselves ready to receive the knowledge, then we will be able to become eligible for the acquisition of knowledge. To become a Gyani it is necessary that a man should resolve to acquire knowledge and he should not bind himself with only one Guru, but wherever he comes to know good things, he should accept it.

THANKYOU!!!
