I was so irritated with the COVID and the lockdown situation, that I used to remain frustrated with everyone most of the time. But as soon as I heard the news about the easing of the lockdown and regular shops were going to reopen at the specific timings,my happiness knew no bounds.  As usual,I called my best Friend Shaina to our local Pizza parlour to eat some Pizza and do chit chat.As I was waiting for her in the booth,I saw one girl entering who had worn the same bird designed mask which Shaina wears most of the time.Her hair was similar to Shaina, so I thought that girl was Shaina and immediately went over there and pulled her and forced to sit down opposite to me.I didn't let her talk because I was so engrossed in blabbering about my crush.She was gesturing me to stop ,but I thought she was trying to interrupt to order or something.I didn't stop though She just sat there blinking up to me and I ordered our usual Pizzas and I continued my blabber as I had earlier excitingly revealed to Shaina about my crush and I had intended to talk to her about him.Till then our Pizzas had arrived ,I removed my mask to eat and I told her to do the same.As she removed her mask,I gasped in shock because she was not Shaina and my mouth hunged open.I tried to form words but coudn't.Finally I asked her who she was.She told me that her name was Reena and was going to meet her boyfriend who sat on the last table in the corner and told me that I came out of nowhere and pulled her here and started blabbering without checking who she's talking to and by her tone it was evident that she was angry.I started to apologize but by then she stormed off angrily.I sighed and checked my phone.There was a text by Shaina which said that she couldn't meet because of some situation.I felt very awkward and I had to take the parcel of the ordered pizzas forcibly.Later that day,when I told this incident to Shaina,she was laughing uncontrollably and mocked me for it.I took the lesson that day and I check the person everytime I meet them ….!
