Viduthalai is a significant victory for conviction. Vetri Maaran is able to reveal the hero that Soori has been harbouring all along. Viduthalai appears to be an unusual story about the underdog. Drama, feelings, and simmering tension are in abundance. The hero is given unfair treatment, and we are waiting for him to burst because of it, but he is prepared to put up with everything in order to uphold his morals. The unfair system treats him like a mere pawn in a one-upmanship game, which is not right. Soori resembles us. a hopeful person. a man with hope in his heart. But the system acts like a leech, sucking his blood out.
Instead of engaging in his customary shenanigans, Soori becomes Vetri Maaran's devoted follower. A subtle but effective performance. You support his victory even though you are aware of the truth. And when he has his moment of glory, you can't help but applaud him. Becoming the leading lady is Bhavani Sre's major break. A charming performer who shows a lot of potential. The biggest surprise in the movie is Chetan. He represents police violence by being unyielding and nasty. As Chetan regularly subjects the hero to torture, he is not directly in your face. That is a component of his rigidity, which defines him.
Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is on the other end of the spectrum, counteracts the harshness by being a little more sympathetic than the other cops in the movie. He is the nice guy. Or is he not? Next, let's wait and see what happens. Each character in the movie has been expertly developed. Even the lesser supporting actors contribute to raising the quality of the movie.
Vijay Sethupathi's performance as Vathiyar is the final but most crucial component of this puzzle. Little is known about him. But, a preview of what to expect in the second portion is provided. He is known to support those who are oppressed. Additionally, the sneak peek generated enough excitement for the Vathiyar persona to give us a fantastic non-traditional cliffhanger.
The eerie score by Ilayaraja draws us into the picture. The reality of the movie is enhanced by Jacki's art direction and Velraj's photography. We nearly have the impression that we are helplessly trapped in a strict and broken system.
Conclusion: Don't miss! Another outstanding film has been added to Vetrimaaran's impressive resume.
