Hello friends and welcome back.  In this blog we will see about dandruff.

Causes of Dandruff

The cause of dandruff is not fully understood, but currently one of the main causes is the destruction of the natural lipid barrier of the scalp, which is exposed to the fine yeast infections commonly found on the scalp. Is believed to be. When yeast grows, it causes an inflammatory reaction that kills the scalp cells rapidly, causing the scalp cells to shed into sticky patches and flakes.

The condition is identified as follows: -white or clear flakes on the scalp, hair, clothing. -Itchy scalp, red and inflamed. Some young teens develop dandruff when they reach puberty. This is because hygiene practices have not changed to meet the newly accelerated sebum production challenges. Stress, poor hygiene, and poor diet can make your scalp prone to dandruff. Foods that are particularly high in sugar are known to exacerbate yeast infections. Hair should be brushed regularly to eliminate dandruff and stimulate blood flow to the scalp. This accelerates the natural immune response to the infection.

Treatment of Dandruff

There are some habits you can develop and natural remedies that you can use to treat dandruff.

Diet: Excessive sugar in the diet can exacerbate yeast infections. Try reducing your sugar and refined starch intake while treating dandruff.

CleansingThoroughly massage the scalp with your fingertips while shampooing. This helps loosen and remove dead skin cells and prevent the spread of the infection.

Conditioner: Use protective conditioner only on the edges of the hair. Do not apply conditioner to the scalp, which can clog the pores and prevent the skin from healing.

Other Treatments: –

Massage: Massage the scalp several times a day with just your fingertips to promote blood circulation in the hair follicles and loosen dead skin cells.

Brushing: Brushing your hair thoroughly daily helps to loosen and remove dead skin cells, improve the flow of sebum along the hair shaft, and increase the blood supply to the hair follicles. Fungal infections of the skin are highly contagious and can easily re-infect and spread to other parts of the body. That's why it's important to wash your hair daily and get rid of loose dandruff flakes to prevent infection of healthy parts of your scalp.

The following herbs and nutrients have been shown to reduce dandruff infections: Natural internal treatment of dandruff Alpha lipoic acid, vanadyl sulphate, ginemasilvestol, and chromium are all natural regulators of blood glucose levels.  Olive leaves and oregano leaves are both natural systemic antifungal agents.
